Filudi is a free game site published by FI-Data, a company based in Paris, France. FI-Data decides what is stored about players and why, and answers for it.
What we store
- A guest player. Your first visit creates a player with a random id and a nickname such as Guest-Fox. Your browser keeps a token for it in local storage, not in a cookie.
- Your saves. When a game saves your progress, we keep it with your player so you can pick up where you left off.
- Your scores, shown on the leaderboards with your nickname.
- Your email, only if you link one. We store it encrypted and use it only to send you sign-in links.
- Events. We record what happens on the site and in the games (a page opens, a game starts, a level ends) with your player id, to count visits and fix problems.
-
Your cookie choice, in a cookie named
euconsent-v2orfiludi-consent.
Why
- To run the games and keep your progress, which is the service you ask for when you play.
- To show your nickname and scores on the leaderboards.
- To sign you in on another device when you link an email.
- To measure audience and show ads, only when you say yes in the cookie sheet.
How long
- Events: 13 months, then they are deleted.
- Your player, saves, scores and email: until you delete them. A guest merged into an account is deleted 30 days after the merge.
- Sign-in links: 15 minutes, and each one works once.
- Your cookie choice: 6 months, then we ask again.
Who sees it
Your nickname and scores are public on the leaderboards. Nothing else is shown to other players. The servers that run Filudi and the service that sends our emails process data for FI-Data and for nothing else. Audience measurement goes through our own domain without a cookie. No ad partner runs today; when one does, the cookie sheet lists it and it only gets what you allow.
Your rights
On your profile page you can download everything we store about you as a JSON file, and delete it: "Erase everything on this device" as a guest, "Delete my account" once you have linked an email. You can also ask us to access, correct or limit your data, or object to a use of it. If you think we got it wrong, you can complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
